Torpenhow Solo

OK so spend a week away only to return to find Solo is still running around, convinced now he’s an eventer in the making, hes so bold and quite fast running around, just wait until I add the yearlings to the field in the next few weeks. It’ll be interesting to see what he makes of them.

The grey around his eyes makes his eyes really stand out. Pity he’s going to be grey as he’s a very handsome bay at the moment.

He’ll be looking for a new home in 5 months. Any interest welcome……

Looks like he’s going to be a big chap.

Torpenhow Destiny

Destiny (Tina) to her friends now 3 years old looks like she should make 16.2hh by Daddy Cool, out of a Fürstenreich mare (Torpenhow Dyna Mo). Tina is just about ready to start competing after the weather improves I expect she’ll go out.

She really is a force of nature totally loves people just like her mum, and will happily lie down right in front of you if she feels tired.

Declan achieved a premium at his grading and the poor sole was also awarded a brand (designer label) to go with it. He’s now all set for his weaning this weekend.

Torpenhow Dyna Mo at South View

Mo has been on form lately and is just stepping up she has won a couple of  Newcomers recently, though at South View she came second, and jumped her first double clear in the Foxhunter, not bad really since its only her second foxhunter.

Torpenhow Dyna Mo at South View

We’ve just had a good day out at South View in Wettenhall, Cheshire. Only her second newcomers class and her second time jumping outdoors. She’s improving all the time, but has a lot to learn yet, can’t wait to see her in some bigger classes. Amazingly I seem to be improving at this photograph stuff.

Welcome

Torpenhow Dyna Mo with daughter Destiny and SteveWelcome to Torpenhow Warmblood Stud, nice to see you found us.

We are a small select warmblood stud based in the North West of England.  Each year we breed 2 – 3 foals from the best European bloodlines. This year we expect one foal by Furst Romancier (Dressage lines) out of a Don Primero mare and one by Barca (Show Jumping lines).

We currently have a selection of British Bred warmblood horses for sale (though they are registered with a mix of  breed Societies, including Oldenburgh, Bavarian, Hannovarian and Anglo European Studbooks).  So if your looking to buy a horse why not call us to see if we have anything suitable first.

This year we will hopefully have two foals which we will be offering for sale, the first of which is due in May to a show jumping stallion, the second is due early June to the dressage stallion Furst Romancier.
