The boys have finally gone out for the summer….

Declan has started to behave a lot better now that he’s allowed us to handle him more, and he’s a star at leading now. Steve’s demonstrating how to lead and Declan is being really well behaved, very please with his behaviour today he was really good, when being taken to his new field.

Declan awarded a premium at Oldenburg grading

Declan achieved a premium at his grading and the poor sole was also awarded a brand (designer label) to go with it. He’s now all set for his weaning this weekend.

We’ve just had a good day out at South View in Wettenhall, Cheshire. Only her second newcomers class and her second time jumping outdoors. She’s improving all the time, but has a lot to learn yet, can’t wait to see her in some bigger classes. Amazingly I seem to be improving at this photograph stuff.

Luke is full brother to Emma Shaw’s It’ll be me (10th Foxhunter final 2005). Luke’s sire It’s the Business should need no introduction to serious Show jumpers.

It’s The Business is a Grade A International Showjumper Winning well in excess of £30,000 in his short showjumping career before an injury ended his international career at 9 years old. In 1994 he won the three major indoor winter Championships, EPD, Toggi and Parkes.  1st & 4th International Grand Prix in Veendam, Holland. 1st Grand Prix, Newark and Notts. 1st AIT Bath & West, 1st AIT Royal Welsh, 1st AIT New Forest.  1st Special Stallion Jumping Championship at Valkenswaard in Holland where It’s the Business beat Europe’s top 35 show jumping stallions.
It’s The Business youngstock are recognised as phenomenal Jumpers with many of his youngstock  making grade A including Sunnoras Son, Woodland What A Business, Back in Business and Exandor. He has also many promising youngstock in 1999 he broke the record for the most progeny being at Wembley also in 1999 It’s The Business won the Horse and Hound Leading Sire on Progeny Winnings.
Dam sire Dynamo is the sire of Nick Skeltons former ride Dollar Girl one of the biggest show jumping money winners of all time.
Luke has no shortage of top Show Jumping relations, and we expect a great future for him in the Show Jumping arena.
Luke is still entire and will be sent off shortly to be prepared for the Anglo European grading.
